Planning Your Charter - This calendar provides an idea of what is most often caught in our offshore waters during each month. Keep this mind when planning your charter and the species you would like to catch.
TOPGUN - Fishing Calendar

January
Yellowfin Tuna are lurking around and the bottom fishing is hot. It is not unusual to catch over a sixty fish in 5-6 hours. Grouper, Snapper, Black Sea Bass are plentiful and very hungry. Topgun 5 keeps you dry and out of the wind to and from near shore reefs.
February
Yellowfin, Blackfin, Wahoo and a few early Kings and Mahi start the action in February. The bottom fishing is peaking and a trip leads to both trolling for tuna and bottom fishing at or southern limits. Large Spot Tail Bass are on the reefs and wrecks.
March
Good Blackfin, Mahi getting better and some big Wahoo action in windy March. Need to pick our days. Sunny calm days really produce at dawn.
April
Mahi action is better and a few Blackfin are still around. Wahoo, Sail and a few Mahi are in the area and really get the excitement going. Kings and Cobia start showing up on the wrecks ! Bottom fishing produces Grouper and Snapper.
May
Big Mahi are show up on weed lines during the spawn resulting in big catches and big fish ! Sails, and Wahoo are within reach. Cobia and Kings begin showing up in numbers and size. Big Snapper are the bottom fare.
June
Cobia peak during the spawn and King action is hot producing large Cobia and Kings. Mahi "schoolies" are coming into shallower waters and large Snapper are biting. Good trolling, wreck and bottom fishing!
July
Cobia and Kings are on the reefs and wrecks. School Mahi are still around. Calm seas and hot sunny days make for a great fishing experience !
August
Fall is coming and Spot Tail Bass are feeding. Sails and Wahoo come in closer and Cobia and Kings are still around.
September
The best month for Sails. King run and bottom fishing is good.
October
Kings, and bottom fishing for Grouper and Black Sea Bass start showing up closer. Cool weather is pleasant and the fish are biting.
November
Near shore bottom fishing is really hot. Sunny days produce good catches.
December
Good bottom fishing producing large numbers of Black Sea Bass and some Snapper and Grouper.
