Summer can offer a variety of offshore fishing opportunities for you to experience. From sea bass on the reefs to blue marlin in the Gulf Stream fish are biting. Many of the bluewater fish that occur 50 miles offshore in the early spring often move to within 15 miles of the coast. Summer also offers fisherman the best weather of the year. Although it can be hot, it is not uncommon to have four or five consecutive days of flat, calm seas.

Captain Tom Thomas
The bite is on and most species are spawning and eating profusely. The huge Kings started biting the 16th of June. Judy caught her first King and Cobia on Topgun 5. Andy caught 4 Kings in the 24-28 pound range by 0900 and Capt Tom caught a 35 pound King while Andy rested for his upcoming Cobia. Then, Andy caught a nice Cobia, Barracuda and Amber Jack. June brings nice Mahi Mahi in closer and the ride to the fish is nice now that calm winds and seas are prevailing. Several trips have caught nice Mahi Mahi, Kings and Cobia all in the same trip! Capt Tom often makes several stops using different fishing techniques in the same day to target multiple species. Mate Mills and Capt Tom caught 14 large Mahi Mahi after a charter had to cancel ! Lauren caught several nice fish along with her Dad (on Father's Day weekend) to include a 35 pound Cobia, 17 pound AJ, 9 pound Cuda, 9 pound King, 10 pound Little Tunny and several nice Black Sea Bass.
